6 Tips for Surviving the HSC Told Through Loosely-Related Stock Photos
1. Break tasks down into small, easily achievable segments
That way, even if you haven’t had the most productive study session, you’ve still achieved something, which releases dopamine and encourages you to keep up the good work!
2. Focus on one thing at a time
Rather than studying all your subjects in one day and forgetting everything you ever knew about anything, just focus on one subject and make progress in a single area.
3. Spend time with your friends
Your friends are there to ease the stress and help you feel better! Balance is essential for a happy, healthy life, which helps you think and work productively
4. … And your parents!
Your parents love you, feed you, and can actually give some pretty good advice. Sometimes.
5. Improve your attitude
See the HSC as an opportunity. If you do well, it can be a gateway to greater things and help you achieve anything you want. If you don’t do so well… you can still do anything you want. It’s your life, and a poor HSC result never stopped anyone from ending up where they wanted. If you view the HSC as one opportunity to prove what you can do, and remember that there will be other opportunities in the future, you can remove a lot of the stress and actually do better as a result!
6. Procrastinate productively
If you’re going to procrastinate… you’re going to procrastinate. You’ll feel much better about yourself if you use that time to go for a run, do some yoga, cook, play sport, or something that will have a positive and tangible result.
