Organisation is one of the most important parts of successful study, I mean you can’t expect to learn efficiently if you don’t know where to start, where your resources are, and how to sort them. Luckily for you we’ve compiled three simple steps to keep you on track and smashing those goals.
Three Steps To Success:
1. Date your work:
By simply jotting the date down on each page of your notes, you are keeping a chronological journal of your work that tracks where you’re up to, what you’ve missed, and what order your work is in. Say goodbye to confusing jumbled pages!
2. Title your work:
You don’t want to have to read through each of your notes just to find out what they’re about and what topic they refer to. It’s super simple, but titles give you an easy, quick reference point as to what your notes refer to.
3. Colour code your work:
Using different colours is a great way to categorise the contents of your notes. When scanning through your work you can identify which parts signify different things (e.g. blue = learning content, black = worked examples, red = diagrams).
Give it a go and I’m sure your eyes and your brain will thank you straight away.
