We all have that subject that we don’t enjoy.
You’ll know which one it is. It’s the one that, regardless of how much positivity you bring to it, never seems to bring you any joy. You just hate studying for it.
We hear you. We feel it too.
Everyone has their own unique ways of dealing with things that they don’t want to do. The following is by no means an exhaustive list, but we think it’s a fantastic place to start.
The company of other people can help you get through tough subjects.
Because whilst you won’t show up for the subject you hate, you’ll definitely show up for the circle of friends you love spending time with. Not wanting to disappoint these people you love is a serious motivator to show up and be part of the study group.
So, do yourself a favour:
When the going gets tough, seek out a group of supportive study buddies (who are dedicated enough not to derail your efforts with “let’s go get coffee!!” every half an hour), and work through subjects you hate.
Together, we can get through the subjects we wouldn’t ordinarily force ourselves to do! (And we might even secretly enjoy it a little bit too.)
